Summer Weather During Fall StoryWalk

The warm weather brought out a great crowd

Over 65 people attended our Fall StoryWalk program on October 9th.  If you missed it, you are still welcome to walk the trail and read the book with your family. The Busy Little Squirrel is also available for checkout at OLPL.  We had a great time reading the book, making a cute squirrel craft and completing a worksheet that reviewed the story which helps improve reading comprehension.  Yes, we make learning fun.

We also received this lovely note from Mrs. Woz: "Thank you so much!!! How awesome!!  Thank you for a fun day yesterday! The boys were thrilled. Our friends the Clark family thought it was wonderful.  Ms. Clark is a teacher at Oak Lawn High School & she was highly impressed!"

Our next StoryWalk will be in January on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, and indoor space is confirmed in the Dream Center, located on Lake Shore Park.  We will post details next year and look forward to seeing you there.
