Jack’s 8th grade foster brother, Joseph, has had a tough life. He spent time in a juvenile detention center, then jail, and to top it all off he has a 3 month old daughter named Jupiter. As Joseph opens up about his life, the reader learns what led up to his current fate. The ending of the book is heartbreaking, and takes a turn that I was not expecting. This book is definitely for mature readers because it talks about very sensitive topics. The book was very well written, but it is intended for readers in high school or above.
