Friends Book Sale Donations
The Friends Bookstore is open for business during all Library hours.
You will find a remarkable variety of items at bargain prices. Hardcover books (50 cents); paperbacks (25 cents); magazines (10 cents). At any given time, there may be CD's, audio cassettes, record albums and other media, price as marked. The Bookstore is located in the northwest corner of the Library's first floor, right next to the Doughs Guys Bakery. Stop by to peruse an ever-changing selection of thousands of books and other items at bargain prices.
To stock the sale, the dedicated Friends volunteers accept donations of "gently used" books, magazines, VHS tapes, DVDs, CDs, books on tape, books on CD, audio cassettes, puzzles, games and records. Due to space limitations, the Friends will not accept Readers Digest Condensed Books, encyclopedias and outdated textbooks.
The drop-off area is near the Cook Avenue entrance, and donors may fill out a form at the first floor Customer Services Desk to receive a tax letter acknowledgement by mail.
Funds collected from the Bookstore support Library programming and purchases that are beyond the Library's regular budget.
