You Never Can Tell by Kathleen Eagle

Monday, January 8
Meet in the Local History Room at 7:00 p.m. for a great discussion to kick off the winter season!

Determined to write the story of her career, freelance journalist Heather Reardon tracks down Native American Kole Kills Crow, a former Native American rights activist and prison escapee. He is holed up in a remote cabin in Minnesota, not wishing to re-enter the limelight – and most definitely not looking for romance. Politics, murder and betrayal are at the heart of this romance and make for a robust story.

"I thought it would be interesting to read a contemporary romance with a Native American setting. I’ve never read anything like this, and I’m really looking forward to broadening my romance horizons. I’m sure it will be as romantic as the other books we’ve read, too!"   -- Ang
